Level Up Your Ride is an innovative digital training programme that helps cyclists improve their road traffic safety and cycling skills. This project is the result of close cooperation among leading organisations committed to a safe, sustainable and bike-friendly future.

Pro Velo Switzerland is the national organisation committed to promoting cycling and improving cycling infrastructure. With 40 regional associations and around 42,000 members, it supports cycling as an eco-friendly, healthy mode of transport – and actively advocates for safety, comfort and bike-friendly infrastructure.

The FHNW School of Applied Sciences and Arts is providing scientific expertise to help develop Level Up Your Ride. FHNW provides expertise in the field of transport, conveys this knowledge in learning content, develops innovative learning methods based on psychology, and implements impact measurement.

The Road Safety Fund, or FVS, is the main financial backer of Level Up Your Ride. With its support, the FVS is promoting projects that further accident prevention and increase road safety. The goal is sustainable and effective measures that make road traffic safer for everyone.

The AXA Foundation for Prevention supports Level Up Your Ride as a financing partner. As the Foundation is committed to the goal of improving road safety, it supports innovative projects that make a tangible contribution to improving road safety for all road users in urban areas.
